The primary goal of my trip to Uganda was to see the very endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat but I experienced much more on my 12 day safari. We drove through several national parks with varying terrain from dense mountainous rain forests to savanna to the Nile River coursing through a narrow gorge cascading down to a placid river through the delta.
